zoë elyse van heest, celebrity.
KISS & TELL: thanks so much for agreeing to talk to us today! it's a real honor, let me tell you. so first. let's start with the basics. tell us a little about yourself.
YOU: yeah no probs. i'm zoë van heest, i go by zoë or zo, or even just z. i was born on october 2nd in chicago illinois. oh, and i'm nineteen.
K&T: excellent! now that we know some of the key things about you, fill us in on what exactly you do.
YOU: well, my dad is jonathan van heest obvi. he's a really big actor, or he was back in the day. these days he does a lot of producing and directing too. i was even in a couple of his movies when i was younger. and i was in some bigger movies years ago, but i haven't acted for awhile. it's just not really what i want to do. my mom is just...my mom. she's a socialite basically, she's old school east coast and through her side of the family we're somehow related to grace kelly which she never brags about but tries to bring it up whenever possible.
K&T: I see. and just how did you get started in this business?
YOU: my dad, obvi.
K&T: okay, okay. enough of the boring stuff. give us the juicy details on your love life!
YOU: ok aka basic details...um i'm single right now. and i'm straight, despite any rumors you might have heard that i swing both ways. sorry girls.
K&T: what is your favorite part of the business?
YOU: totz the money. i mean, maybe it sounds bratty but whatever, it's true. and i really like seeing the finished product. like mostly when my dad's contributed to it - it's so cool to see the outcome of all the hard work he's put into it.
K&T: what is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
YOU: i'm pretty normal. i like to shop and nap and eat. sometimes i play the guitar, sometimes i don't.
K&T: are there any projects you just wrapped up or are currently working on?
YOU: my last movie was a few years ago but more lately i've been doing some modeling. recently i've been asked about a couple movie roles and i'm thinking about getting back into it. who knows
K&T: tell us about your family.
YOU: i get along with my dad really well. he is one of my favorite people in the whole world. and it's reciprocated; literally, he's told me more than once that i'm his favorite child. no big deal. i tell him basically everything. my mom and i get along, too. she's kind of sporty and athletic and she works out every morning and evening, no exceptions. ever since i could walk, she's been pushing me to excel at a sport, probably because her other two children were already athletic geniuses. sasha played volleyball, like my mom, and benji was a wiz at soccer. i never really inherited the "athletic" gene, i guess, because literally every sport i play i'm terrible at. and it doesn't help that kit and cole are tennis and golf pros, respectively. my dad could care less about sports, but to my mom it's a big deal. i'm really close to benji, my older brother. his name's really benjamin, that's what most people call him, but i've just always not. there's some bad blood between my sister sasha and i just because my mom kind of favors her (because she plays volleyball) and my dad definitely favors me. we don't hate each other, or anything, but there's a lot of unspoken tension between us. it's weird. i think the uneven favoritism bothers her more than me, though, because honestly i hate sports and i wouldn't want to be my mom's gym buddy or spotting partner...not for me. kit has always been super mature for her age, but she's also really smart and kind of a snob. cole is a little baby player - he's always been way too into girls, and when he hit puberty he kind of turned into this womanizing jerk. the kid's got a great sense of humor though, so at least he makes me laugh.
K&T: what's something we don't know about you? any juicy secrets?
YOU: i can fit my whole fist in my mouth...wanna see
K&T: speaking of juicy, what's a rumor you've heard about yourself lately?
YOU: that i'm dating gerard butler, probably because my dad is producing his new movie. i mean, come one. he's hot, but so old. ew.
K&T: thanks so much for chatting! I know you're busy, so we'll be letting you go now. but before you do, care to leave our readers with any words of wisdom?
YOU: confidence is a stain they can't wipe off
