juliet evelyn rousseau, socialite .
KISS & TELL: thanks so much for agreeing to talk to us today! it's a real honor, let me tell you. so first. let's start with the basics. tell us a little about yourself.
YOU: okay well i'm sure you know my name is juliet, most people just call me that or julie doesn't really matter to me what you call me. my brithday is may fifteenth, i'm sure you know this considering the huge party that was thrown last year, i'm pretty sure you were there. i'm twenty one, and was born in raised in manhattan, new yor
K&T: excellent! now that we know some of the key things about you, fill us in on what exactly you do.
YOU: okay well most people know who my mom is elisabeth rousseau, she was in all those movies, she's even won about two ocsars i believe i've lost count. i know mostly all her movies are well liked by the people today, especially in paris they adore her there. my father is richard rousseau he's mostly famous in europe for the work he does over there, i guess you can call him old money.
K&T: I see. and just how did you get started in this business?
YOU:
pretty much just born into it, my mother got pregnant with my sister and i after she filmed one of her movies, and everyone made a big deal about her having twins so of course she was in the spotlight almost all the time. although when i was a child i did beauty pageant, commercials, tv show guest spots. my sister and i pretty much stay in the spotlight no matter what.
K&T: okay, okay. enough of the boring stuff. give us the juicy details on your love life!
YOU: my love life is none existent, i honestly can't have one without someone getting in my face about it's exhausting. i like boys, i don't think i'd ever date a girl, i don't think they'd get me it's just that i know the crap girls go through so no never that.
K&T: what is your favorite part of the business?
YOU: sometimes i like actually getting spotted going places, it's kind of trilling to me, you know just being known is kind of interesting to me. i love it when people come up to me and know that i guest starred here, or that i wrote this book, or that my parents are so and so, it's pretty cool i love it....money's not bad either.
K&T: what is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
YOU: shopping all the time, i pretty much have days off whenever i want or whenever i feel like not doing something. i love curling on the couch with sally and reading a book or taking naps. my sister and i always go out to lunch when our schedules work, not that it's all that enjoyable.
K&T: are there any projects you just wrapped up or are currently working on?
YOU: currently i'm just dealing with my charity's right now, i've started doing little bits and bits of a clothing line but that's not going to launch until i'm sure it's ready.
K&T: tell us about your family.
YOU: well of course you know my mother elisabeth and my father richard but then you also know my twin sister...we don't get a long or we hardly do she thinks i'm a bitch which i guess is true but i think that she needs to grow up and understand that this is real life and we can't live in our parents shadow for much longer. my whole family just doesn't seem to get along at all. it's my mother and i on one side and then my father and my sister on the other side...it's like the great divide but then again it could be do to my parents recent divorce....though i like it like it is because there's not fighting..and it's calm and peaceful.
K&T: what's something we don't know about you? any juicy secrets?
YOU: i see a therapist about two days a week do the fact of my eating disorder that no one really knows i have either....then my suicide attempt that only my sister knows about...i just don't know what's wrong with me. it's like these voices in my head are telling me i'm not good enough and i'm believing them.
K&T: speaking of juicy, what's a rumor you've heard about yourself lately?
YOU: oh lord that i was caught giving a blow job to leonardo dicarprio like really people? i've never even talked to the man before...stupid.
K&T: thanks so much for chatting! I know you're busy, so we'll be letting you go now. but before you do, care to leave our readers with any words of wisdom?
YOU: "don't let people tell you, you aren't good enough. you'll be greatness one day."
carly, twenty, leighton meester.
